Publication date: 1/10/2013

Skippack, PA – Sal Lapio Homes, one of the area’s most consistently successful builders recently chose The Davidson Group to sell new construction in its Bella Vista and Reserve at Macoby Run communities in Montgomery County. There are 25 home sites in the current phase of Bella Vista, located in Gilbertsville and 20 in Macoby Run, Pennsburg. Future home sites are planned in both communities.

Doug Pavone and Gay Davidson from The Davidson Group review plans for a new home with Steve Lampmann, General Manager of Sal Lapio Homes

This is a natural partnership that promises success. Lapio, an independent residential builder since 1972, when he purchased his first lot in Reading, PA, is recognized in the industry as a conservative rock-solid businessman. His prudent approach has allowed him to build more than 3,000 homes and grow the Sellersville-based company, despite challenges that impeded others in the Delaware Valley and across the nation. The Davidson Group, founded by Gay Davidson in 1979, shares an equally impressive record and independent status.

“When we decided to bring on a real estate firm to work with us, our focus was on finding an independent group with new home sales expertise, not a franchise,” says Steve Lampmann, vice president and general manager of Sal Lapio Homes. “The Davidson Group matches our objectives. Gay’s team offers industry experience and a wonderful positive opportunity for us as we move forward. Her enthusiasm is contagious and all those emotions are honest, because Bella Vista and Macoby Run are exceptional.”

That enthusiasm is quickly evident when Davidson shares her thoughts about the builder and these communities. “In today’s real estate climate, it is refreshing to genuinely be able to say that Sal Lapio Homes is a secure and reliable builder with financial stability. The company owns its land, is very well established and most important, it is an organization that can be trusted at every turn. It’s a privilege for our team to be on board to promote and market Bella Vista and Macoby Run. They are two of the most stunning communities I have ever seen. Plus, Sal Lapio offers high quality at affordable prices.”

Bella Vista transcends its beautiful view Italian translation throughout the golf course community set on an historic farm estate. Postcard picturesque, homes look across a valley, along forest paths and rolling open space out to the 254-acre 18-hole public golf course. For people who seek an oasis that is convenient to commuter routes and major shopping, Bella Vista is the answer. Two bonuses for buyers at Bella Vista are La Masseria banquet center located in a graciously restored 1802 barn and The Markley Grill, a cozy and very popular restaurant operating in the property’s former stone farm house.

Bella Vista’s two-story homes range in size from 2,400 to 3,500 square feet. Features include open floor plans, soaring foyers, kitchens designed for gathering and gourmet cooking, and luxurious owners’ suites adjoined by exceptionally appointed baths. Customizing is welcomed. Conveniently situated just under four miles from Ridge Pike, It is close to the turnpike and many shopping parks, including, the Philadelphia Premium Outlets. Prices begin at $305,900 and residents don’t have to pay membership fees to golf.

Reserve at Macoby Run is a 53-acre sanctuary bordered by its own park, a burbling stream and walking trails. Green Lane Park, open all year for various outdoor activities and festivals is a short drive away. Immediately after people drive across a stately stone arch bridge, they are transfixed by the breathtaking appeal of Macoby Run. Bells from a nearby church toll, meadowlarks sing and children frolic on wooded paths. It is an idyllic bedroom community for commuters who appreciate the joy of living in a rich family-friendly country setting that is within close proximity of major access highways and the PA Turnpike.

Macoby Run homes, which are priced from $320,000, are elegant in style, spacious in living area and crafted in Sal Lapio’s impeccable tradition. Dramatic first floor ceilings rise to nine feet and kitchens are fully equipped with 42-inch cabinets, granite countertops, microwave ovens and more. These four-bedroom homes range in square footage from 2,100 to 3, 500. A fifth bedroom can easily be added to select homes and all homes offer an optional solarium.
